Malaysia's wholesale, retail trade sales rise 10.5% to RM173bil in August - DOSM

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s wholesale and retail trade recorded sales of RM173 billion in August 2026, an increase of 10.5 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y), said the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM).

In a statement today, DoSM said the volume index rose 3.6 per cent y-o-y, with growth across all three sub-sectors.
