Bangkok common rail ticket with 17–45 baht fares planned for Jan 1, 2027

BANGKOK: The proposed fare structure includes a single 17-baht entry charge, allowing passengers to transfer between different rail lines without paying additional entry fees.

The system will be managed by the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and will use the international EMV standard for contactless credit and debit card payments.
