KUALA LUMPUR: CTOS Digital Bhd estimates that the financial impact to the company from the Sept 23 cybersecurity incident amounts to RM12mil in profit after tax and minority interest (Patami) and RM16mil in revenue for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.
The company said in a stock exchange filing that the estimated impact on third quarter ended Sept 30, 2026 (3Q26) Patami amounted to RM5mil while for 4Q26, it amounts to RM7mil. It estimates 3Q26 and 4Q26 revenue impact at RM3mil and RM13mil respectively.
