LOS ANGELES : YouTube plans to label songs created or altered using artificial intelligence (AI), the Google subsidiary has announced.

The labels will first be introduced on YouTube's music service and are also to be extended to the main app, where users will be told whether a track has been changed with AI or created entirely using the technology, YouTube said on Oct 14.
