Kaka hits hattrick as Star City down Kelantan 5-2

PETALING JAYA: Nur Azfar Fikri Azhar was the toast for Star City when he scored a hattrick to help his side beat Kelantan 5-2 in the Super League at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru on Friday (Oct 16).

The 26-year-old, fondly known as Kaka by his teammates, got his goals in the 13th, 46th and 60th minutes, while the other goals were scored by Brazilians - midfielder Pedro Santos in the 45th minute and striker Douglas Oliveira (90th).

Kelantan’s goals were scored by centrebacks Mohd Mohd Faudzi (52nd) and Arham Khussyairi (69th).

Star City, led by Australian coach Mehmet Durakovic, are now eighth in the league with five points from five matches, while Kelantan remain winless and rooted to the bottom with zero points from six games.
