All ActiveSG sports facilities will resume operations on Saturday (Oct 17), according to an advisory issued by Sport Singapore (SportSG).
In its haze advisory posted on its website on Oct 17, SportSG said it had implemented precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of facility users amid the ongoing haze situation.
The facilities will operate according to their respective operating hours.
"Visitors are advised to monitor prevailing air quality conditions and adjust their activities accordingly," said SportSG.
"Vulnerable groups, including seniors, children and individuals with existing health conditions, are encouraged to exercise extra caution when participating in outdoor activities."
SportSG added that it would continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust operations where necessary.
On Oct 16, SportSG said outdoor and non-air-conditioned facilities at its sports centres had been temporarily closed due to the haze conditions.
It added that indoor and air-conditioned facilities will remain open at all ActiveSG sport centres.
Air quality in Singapore deteriorated on Friday, with the 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) reaching the very unhealthy range in the central, eastern and western regions.
