GYIRONG, Xizang, (China): (Bernama-Xinhua) Forty-three people had been confirmed dead and 519 others remained missing as of 6pm Saturday (Sept 5) after a mudslide struck Gyirong Port on the China-Nepal border in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Aug 26, local emergency response and rescue authorities said on Sunday (Sept 6).
A total of 261 foreign nationals from 23 countries have been identified as being among the missing, officials told a press conference attended by domestic and foreign journalists, reported Xinhua.

西藏吉隆（中国）：（马新社-新华社）当地应急救援部门周日（9月6日）表示，截至周六（9月5日）下午6点，8月26日发生在西藏自治区中尼边境吉隆口岸的泥石流已造成43人死亡，另有519人失踪。
据新华社报道，官员在有国内外记者参加的新闻发布会上表示，已确认失踪人员中共有来自23个国家的261名外国公民。
