FBM KLCI rises at midday on blue-chip gains

KUALA LUMPUR: Gains in selected blue chips lifted the FBM KLCI at midday on Monday, even as the broader market remained under selling pressure.

At the lunch break, the FBM KLCI rose 6.51 points, or 0.38%, to 1,714.61, just below its morning high of 1,715.04.
