FT008 detour near Gua Musang now open to light traffic after sinkhole

GUA MUSANG, Oct 25 — A temporary detour at FT008 Section 205.556 along the Gua Musang-Kota Bharu road near the Kesedar Ethnobotanical Recreation Park here was opened to light vehicles at noon today.

In a statement, the Gua Musang Public Works Department (JKR) said the detour, built using a Bailey bridge, was constructed at the site of a sinkhole on the road.

The detour, which is part of the Central Spine Road (LTU) Project Packages 3B and 3C, is open only to light vehicles.

Road users have been advised to follow temporary traffic signs and safety instructions, reduce their speed and exercise caution when passing through the area.

They should also plan their journeys in advance, while heavy vehicles are advised to use alternative routes.

瓜拉姆桑，10 月 25 日讯——今天中午，瓜拉姆桑-哥打巴鲁公路靠近凯塞达民族植物休闲公园的 FT008 路段 205.556 处临时绕行路线已对轻型车辆开放。

瓜拉姆桑公共工程局 (JKR) 在一份声明中表示，这条使用贝利桥建造的绕行路线，是建在道路上的一个塌陷坑处。

该绕行路线是中央主干道（LTU）项目3B和3C标段的一部分，仅对轻型车辆开放。

已建议道路使用者在经过该区域时遵守临时交通标志和安全指示，降低车速并谨慎驾驶。

他们还应该提前规划行程，而重型车辆则建议使用其他路线。
