SEOUL, Sept. 7 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co. accounted for 39.4 percent of the global dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) market by revenue in the second quarter of 2026, an industry report showed Monday, extending its lead amid the global artificial intelligence (AI) boom.

South Korea's top memory chipmaker saw its DRAM revenue rise 63.4 percent from the previous quarter to US$60.98 billion in the April-June period, according to the report released by market research firm TrendForce.

Its market share increased from 38.5 percent in the January-March period.

South Korea's SK hynix Inc. came next with a market share of 24.9 percent, down from 28.8 percent in the first quarter, while its revenue rose 37.9 percent on-quarter to $38.59 billion.

U.S.-based Micron Technology Inc. held a 23.3 percent share of the global DRAM market in the second quarter, up from 22.4 percent in the previous quarter, with its revenue rising 65.5 percent over the period to $36 billion, the report showed.

The global DRAM market, meanwhile, generated $154.73 billion in revenue in the second quarter, up 59.5 percent from the previous quarter, driven by increased shipments of various memory products, according to TrendForce.

韩国 SK 海力士公司位居第二，市场份额为 24.9%，低于第一季度的 28.8%，而其营收环比增长 37.9%，达到 385.9 亿美元。

报告显示，总部位于美国的Micron Technology Inc.在第二季度占据了全球DRAM市场23.3%的份额，高于上一季度的22.4%，其收入在此期间增长了65.5%，达到360亿美元。

据 TrendForce 数据显示，受各类内存产品出货量增加的推动，全球 DRAM 市场第二季度营收达 1547.3 亿美元，比上一季度增长 59.5%。
