Selected public train, bus services to end later on eve of Deepavali

SMRT and SBS Transit will extend selected train services on the eve of Deepavali, so late-night commuters can still travel after celebrations.

The North-South, East-West, Thomson-East Coast and Circle lines will run into the early hours of Nov 8, while NEL, DTL and Sengkang-Punggol LRT will be extended by about half an hour.

Operating hours for 54 bus services will also be longer across the island, with some Jurong East buses leaving as late as 1.50am.

SINGAPORE - Commuters travelling late on the eve of Deepavali will still be able to catch public transport, as SMRT and SBS Transit will extend selected train and bus services.

The North-South Line (NSL), East-West Line (EWL), Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) and Circle Line (CCL) will be extended into the early hours of Nov 8.

On NSL and EWL, the last trains towards Jurong East, Marina South Pier, Pasir Ris and Tuas Link stations will depart from City Hall station at 12.30am.

The last TEL train leaving Woodlands North for Bayshore will depart at 12am, and the train travelling in the other direction will depart at 12.12am.

For CCL, the last train from Dhoby Ghaut to Stadium will leave at 12.17am. Meanwhile, the last train from Marina Bay (anti-clockwise) towards Caldecott will depart at 12.21am, while the last train from Marina Bay (clockwise) towards Botanic Gardens will leave at 12.29am.

There will be no extension for Bukit Panjang LRT service and Changi Airport service.

Train services on the North East Line (NEL) and the Downtown Line (DTL) as well as on the Sengkang-Punggol Light Rail Transit systems will be extended by about half an hour.

The last NEL train to Punggol Coast will leave HarbourFront at 12.30 am, while the train headed in the opposite direction will leave at midnight .

On the DTL, the last train bound for Expo will depart Bukit Panjang at 12.03 am, while the last train towards Bukit Panjang will leave Expo at 12.04am.

The last LRT trains from Sengkang and Punggol stations will depart at 1.06am and 1.09am respectively.

The operating hours for 54 bus services will also be extended across the island, including from the bus interchanges in Bedok, Boon Lay, Bukit Batok, Jurong East, Punggol and Woodlands. These also include bus routes operated by Go-Ahead and Tower Transit.

Services 143M, 333, 334 and 335 will depart the Jurong East interchange at 1.50am, the latest among the bus routes whose operational hours are extended.

从兀兰北站开往海滨站的最后一班 TEL 列车将于凌晨 12 点发车，反方向的列车将于凌晨 12 点 12 分发车。

对于环城公路（CCL）而言，从多美歌（Dhoby Ghaut）开往体育场（Stadium）的末班车将于凌晨 12 点 17 分发车。同时，从滨海湾（Marina Bay）（逆时针方向）开往加利谷（Caldecott）的末班车将于凌晨 12 点 21 分发车，而从滨海湾（Marina Bay）（顺时针方向）开往植物园（Botanic Gardens）的末班车将于凌晨 12 点 29 分发车。

武吉班让轻轨服务和樟宜机场服务将不会延长。

东北线 (NEL)、市区线 (DTL) 以及盛港-榜鹅轻轨系统的列车服务将延长约半小时。

开往榜鹅海岸的末班东北线列车将于凌晨 12:30 从港湾站出发，而开往反方向的列车将于午夜出发。

在市区线 (DTL) 上，开往博览中心的最后一班列车将于凌晨 12 点 03 分从武吉班让站出发，而开往武吉班让的最后一班列车将于凌晨 12 点 04 分从博览中心站出发。

从盛港站和榜鹅站出发的末班轻轨列车将分别于凌晨 1 点 06 分和 1 点 09 分发车。

54条巴士线路的运营时间也将延长，覆盖全岛，包括勿洛、文礼、武吉巴督、裕廊东、榜鹅和兀兰的巴士转换站。这些线路也包括Go-Ahead和Tower Transit运营的巴士线路。

143M、333、334 和 335 路公交车将于凌晨 1 点 50 分从裕廊东巴士转换站出发，是运营时间延长的巴士线路中最晚出发的。
