Sarawakian musician, singer and visual artist Alena Murang will take the traditional sape to the orchestral stage in an upcoming performance with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), featuring an original composition written for the instrument.

The concert, titled Beats Of Borneo With Alena Murang , takes place at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 31 at 8.30pm.
