Tim Pan at MediaStorm built a folding rig and ran an iPhone Duo through 10,000 folds at room temperature, then another 1,000 at -4°F (-20°C). The hinge came out as smooth as it was on day one, but the crease got deeper. HTX Studio ran its own version of the test and measured the crease growing from 48 microns to 167 after 3,000 folds.

In these reviews, we see that the crease is deeper, but when they’re touching the screen and using the phone normally, it barely shows. Early owners on Reddit have said much the same.
