On September 8, Shah Alam police confirmed the discovery of a decomposed male body in an overgrown area near Jalan Persiaran Balairong U8, Bukit Jelutong.
The identity of the deceased remains unknown due to the absence of identification documents, and the body's condition suggests death occurred over a week ago.
The remains have been sent to Al-Sultan Abdullah Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The case is classified as a sudden death, and authorities are seeking public assistance for further information.
SHAH ALAM, Sept 8 — Police have confirmed the discovery of the decomposed body of a man in an overgrown area near Jalan Persiaran Balairong U8, Bukit Jelutong, here yesterday.
Shah Alam district police chief ACP Sarudin Samah said police received a public report at about 2.45 pm and sent a team to the scene to investigate.
He said police were unable to identify the deceased as no identification documents were found at the scene.
“An examination of the deceased’s body could not be carried out due to its condition. Based on the state of the body, the deceased is believed to have died more than a week ago,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Sarudin said the body had been sent to the Forensic Medicine Department at Al-Sultan Abdullah Hospital, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam, for a post-mortem examination scheduled for 2 pm today.
Sarudin said the case has been classified as a sudden death and urged anyone with information to contact investigating officer Inspector Mohd Fildza Che Ibrahim at 016-953 7372 to assist with the investigation. — Bernama

他说，由于现场没有找到任何身份证明文件，警方无法确认死者身份。
“由于死者遗体状况不佳，无法进行尸检。根据遗体状况判断，死者死亡时间已超过一周，”他昨天在一份声明中说。
沙鲁丁表示，尸体已被送往玛拉理工大学（UiTM）本卡阿南苏丹阿卜杜拉医院的法医部门，定于今天下午2点进行尸检。
