JOHOR BAHRU, Nov 2 — A Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) cargo train was partially damaged by a fire while travelling at Kilometre 4.75 near Taman Daya here today.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

Tebrau Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Nor Azmi Maryono said the train was travelling from Kempas Baru station to Pasir Gudang station when the incident occurred.

He said the Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 1.26pm.

“Following this, seven personnel, supported by a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) vehicle, were immediately dispatched to the scene, about six kilometres away.
