President Lee arrives in Paris for summit with Macron

PARIS — Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Monday arrived in Paris, where he is set to hold a summit with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in security, the economy and other areas.

Lee will make a two-day state visit to the French capital from Tuesday, when he will hold a luncheon and summit talks with Macron.

Lee and Macron are expected to discuss cooperation in various areas, including security, the economy, science and technology, culture, and people-to-people exchanges, as the two countries mark the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Lee will head home Wednesday, wrapping up his four-day trip to France. He earlier visited France's Nice for a first-ever Korea-France summit on the future of the film industry, which he co-hosted with Macron.

巴黎——韩国总统李在明周一抵达巴黎，他将与法国总统埃马纽埃尔·马克龙举行峰会，讨论如何加强在安全、经济和其他领域的双边合作。

李将于周二开始对法国首都进行为期两天的国事访问，届时他将与马克龙举行午餐会和峰会会谈。

值此两国庆祝建交140周年之际，李和马克龙预计将讨论包括安全、经济、科技、文化和人文交流在内的各个领域的合作。

李健熙将于周三返回韩国，结束为期四天的法国之行。此前，他曾到访法国尼斯，与马克龙共同主持了首届韩法电影产业未来发展峰会。
