Jeffrey Siow, Ng Chee Meng, Sim Ann and Chan Hui Yuh co-opted to PAP's top decision body

Jeffrey Siow, Ng Chee Meng, Sim Ann and Chan Hui Yuh co-opted to PAP's top decision body

They are: Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow, NTUC secretary-general Ng Chee Meng, Second Minister for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Sim Ann, and PAP Serangoon branch chairperson Chan Hui Yuh.

They join Energy and Industry Minister Dr Tan See Leng and Acting Minister-in-charge for Muslim Affairs Zaqy Mohamad, who were co-opted after the party held its internal election on Oct 25 .

The party's office holders in its CEC remain unchanged:

Chairman: Desmond Lee

Vice-Chairman: Masagos Zulkifli

Secretary-General: Lawrence Wong

Assistant secretary-general: Chan Chun Sing

Treasurer: Ong Ye Kung

Assistant Treasurer: Chee Hong Tat

Organising secretaries: Grace Fu and Edwin Tong

Members: Chan Hui Yuh, Indranee Rajah, Jeffrey Siow, K. Shanmugam, Lee Hsien Loong, Ng Chee Meng, Sim Ann, Dr Tan See Leng, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Zaqy Mohamad

Meanwhile, it also announced changes to its assistant organising secretaries, with Alex Yam and Desmond Tan keeping their roles, but Dinesh Vasu Dash replacing Low Yen Ling and Tan Kiat How.

The PAP's new CEC also made the following appointments to its sub-groups:

Chair, PAP Women's Wing: Sim Ann

Chair, Young PAP: Alvin Tan

Chair, PAP Seniors Group: David Neo

Chair, PAP Malay Affairs Bureau: Zaqy Mohamad

Chair, PAP Policy Forum: Chee Hong Tat

Chair, PAP Climate Action Group: Goh Pei Ming

Chair, PAP Mental Health Group: Janil Puthucheary
