BANGKOK: Thai authorities arrested 12 South Koreans and a Chinese national accused of running a scam call centre from a high-end rented house south of Bangkok, police said on Tuesday (Sept 8).

BANGKOK: Thai authorities arrested 12 South Koreans and a Chinese national accused of running a scam call centre from a high-end rented house south of Bangkok, police said on Tuesday (Sept 8).
The alleged scammers "entered Thailand from a neighbouring country and were hiding in Samut Prakan province, renting a luxury house", Thai police said in a statement, without naming the country.

曼谷：泰国警方周二（9月8日）表示，泰国当局逮捕了12名韩国人和1名中国公民，他们被指控在曼谷南部一栋高档出租屋内经营诈骗电话中心。
泰国警方在一份声明中表示，涉嫌诈骗者“从邻国进入泰国，藏身于北榄府，租住了一栋豪宅”，但声明中并未指明是哪个国家。
