SYDNEY: A man in his fifties was rushed to hospital on Monday (Sept 14) after being attacked by a shark in Western Australia, the state government and local ambulance service said.

Authorities said they had received a report of a "shark incident" around 9.45am (0145 GMT) at Glenfield Beach, just over 400 kilometres (250 miles) north of Perth.

悉尼：西澳大利亚州政府和当地救护车服务部门称，一名五十多岁的男子周一（9月14日）在西澳大利亚遭到鲨鱼袭击后被紧急送往医院。

当局表示，他们于上午 9 点 45 分（格林尼治标准时间 01:45）左右接到报告，称在珀斯以北 400 多公里（250 英里）的格伦菲尔德海滩发生了一起“鲨鱼事件”。
