SB Energy to sell up to $500 million in shares to Japan investors as part of US IPO

TOKYO, ⁠Sept 15 (Reuters) - Data centre developer SB ⁠Energy, backed by SoftBank Group, will sell ‌up to $500 million in shares to Japanese investors as part of a public listing in the U.S., a ​filing showed on Tuesday.

The firm ⁠will issue new shares ⁠to the Japanese investors, and the funds will ⁠be ‌used for general operating costs for developing data centres, power generation and ⁠related infrastructure projects, the filing said.
