SEOUL: A man in his 30s has been arrested for allegedly reselling nearly 9,000 tickets to K-pop concerts, sports games and other high-demand events at inflated prices, earning about 2.4 billion won (US$1.74 million) over more than seven years, the South Korean police said on Thursday (Sept 17).

SEOUL: A man in his 30s has been arrested for allegedly reselling nearly 9,000 tickets to K-pop concerts, sports games and other high-demand events at inflated prices, earning about 2.4 billion won (US$1.74 million) over more than seven years, the South Korean police said on Thursday (Sept 17).
The Gyeonggi Bukbu Provincial Police Agency said it referred the man to prosecutors on charges, including obstruction of business and violations of the Public Performance Act. Prosecutors have since indicted him.

首尔：韩国警方周四（9月17日）表示，一名30多岁的男子因涉嫌以虚高价格转售近9000张K-pop演唱会、体育赛事和其他热门活动的门票而被捕，在七年多的时间里获利约24亿韩元（174万美元）。
京畿道北部警察厅表示，已将该男子移交检方，指控其妨碍商业活动和违反《公共演出法》。检方已对其提起公诉。
