A trip to the neighbourhood “pasar malam” (night market) captures a familiar slice of Malaysian life – slow walks past rows of stalls, battered generators humming, buskers playing and the smells of street food in the air.
There is no fanfare. The pasar simply takes its place in the neighbourhood, each one with its own colourful character.

去附近的“pasar malam”（夜市）逛一圈，就能感受到马来西亚生活的熟悉一面——悠闲地走过一排排摊位，破旧的发电机嗡嗡作响，街头艺人演奏，空气中弥漫着街头小吃的香味。
没有大张旗鼓的宣传，集市就那样静静地融入街区，每个集市都各具特色。
