As of this morning, haze conditions in Malaysia have led to unhealthy air quality in 21 areas, with the highest Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 182 in Serian, Sarawak.
Other affected regions include Samarahan and Sri Aman in Sarawak, along with various locations in Johor, Putrajaya, Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur all registering unhealthy air quality levels.
Additionally, 41 areas reported moderate air quality, while five regions recorded good air quality.
The API gauges air quality on a scale where 0-50 is good, 51-100 moderate, 101-200 unhealthy, 201-300 very unhealthy, and 301 and above hazardous.

Sarawak recorded the highest readings, led by the Serian district police headquarters at 182 on the Air Pollutant Index (API), followed by Samarahan at 168 and Sri Aman at 164, according to the Malaysian Air Pollutant Index Management System.
Johor also saw unhealthy air quality in Larkin, which recorded 162, and Pasir Gudang at 155.
Putrajaya, Nilai in Negeri Sembilan and Batu Pahat in Johor each recorded an API reading of 154.
In Selangor, Shah Alam recorded 153 while Johan Setia registered 127, while Cheras was the only area in Kuala Lumpur in the unhealthy category, with a reading of 133.
Another 41 areas recorded moderate air quality, including Batu Muda in Kuala Lumpur and Miri in Sarawak, both at 99, and Politeknik Kota Kinabalu at 98.
Five areas recorded good air quality, with Tanah Merah in Kelantan registering 47, Sungai Petani in Kedah 41 and Alor Setar 35.
Under the API classification, readings of 0 to 50 indicate good air quality, 51 to 100 moderate, 101 to 200 unhealthy, 201 to 300 very unhealthy and 301 and above hazardous.

布城、森美兰汝来和柔佛峇株巴辖的 API 读数均为 154。
在雪兰莪州，莎阿南的检测结果为 153，佐汉塞蒂亚的检测结果为 127，而吉隆坡只有蕉赖的检测结果为 133，属于不健康类别。
另外41个地区的空气质量为中等，包括吉隆坡的峇都慕达和砂拉越的美里，均为99，以及哥打京那巴鲁理工学院为98。
五个地区的空气质量良好，其中吉兰丹丹那美拉的空气质量为47，吉打双溪大年的空气质量为41，亚罗士打的空气质量为35。
