Car skids and crashes along Upper Bukit Timah Road, destroys part of road divider fencing

A 27-year-old male car driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations after he skidded and crashed into a section of road divider fencing on Upper Bukit Timah Road towards Dairy Farm.

The incident happened at about 11.35pm on Sunday (Sept 20).

Videos of the aftermath posted on social media show the car stopped against the flow of traffic on the other side of the road.

An estimated 60-metre stretch of fencing is seen torn up and lying on the road.

As cars drive past the mangled heap of metal, screeching sounds can be heard.

In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police said the car is believed to have skidded, adding that no injuries were reported.

The driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.

事件发生在周日（9月20日）晚上11点35分左右。

社交媒体上发布的事故现场视频显示，这辆车逆向停在了马路对面。

据估计，有60米长的围栏被撕毁，散落在路上。

当汽车驶过那堆扭曲的金属时，可以听到刺耳的摩擦声。

针对AsiaOne的询问，警方表示，据信该车辆发生了侧滑，并补充说没有人员受伤的报告。

司机正在协助警方进行调查。
