EC: 43,309 new voters added in August — check the electoral roll by October 24

The Election Commission (EC) of Malaysia has announced that the Supplementary Electoral Roll for August 2026 (DPT BLN8/2026) is available for review from September 25 to October 24, 2026.

The roll includes the names of 43,309 new electors automatically registered between August 1 and 31, 2026, along with changes in constituencies for 34,411 voters and status changes for 2,728 voters.

Voters are encouraged to verify their information through the EC's online platforms or contact hotlines.

Those whose names are missing, or who wish to object to changes, can submit claims or objections using the specified forms and procedures.

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 25 — The Supplementary Electoral Roll for August 2026 (DPT BLN8/2026) is open for review for 30 days until Oct 24, said Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus.

He said DPT BLN8/2026, which was gazetted yesterday, contains the names of 43,309 citizens aged 18 and above during the period from Aug 1 to 31, 2026, who were automatically registered as new electors.

Khairul Shahril said it also includes 34,411registered voters who have changed their electoral constituencies and 2,728 voters who have changed their voter category or status.

He urged voters in the relevant categories to check their names in the DPT BLN8/2026.

“Checks can be made via the EC portal at https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my, the official state election office portal at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my, the MySPR Semak mobile application, or the Voter Registration Check hotline at 03-8892 7218,” he said in a statement today.

Khairul Shahril said those who find that their names are not listed in the DPT BLN8/2026 may submit a claim by completing Form C through the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting the relevant State Election Office.

Any registered voter in an electoral constituency who, after checking the roll, wishes to object to the inclusion of the name of a voter who has transferred into the constituency may do so by completing Form D through the same channels.

Forms C and D can also be downloaded from the State Election Office portal at http://ppn.spr.gov.my and submitted to the relevant state election director, together with the objection fee, during office hours throughout the DPT BLN8/2026 review period. — Bernama

该名册包括 2026 年 8 月 1 日至 31 日期间自动登记的 43,309 名新选民的姓名，以及 34,411 名选民的选区变更和 2,728 名选民的身份变更。

姓名缺失者或希望对变更提出异议者，可按指定表格和程序提交申诉或异议。

他表示，昨天公布的 DPT BLN8/2026 号文件包含了 2026 年 8 月 1 日至 31 日期间 43,309 名 18 岁及以上公民的姓名，这些人被自动登记为新选民。

Khairul Shahril 表示，这其中还包括 34,411 名已登记选民更改了他们的选区，以及 2,728 名已登记选民更改了他们的选民类别或身份。

他敦促相关类别的选民在 DPT BLN8/2026 中核对自己的名字。

Khairul Shahril表示，如果发现自己的名字没有列入DPT BLN8/2026名单中，可以通过https://myspr.spr.gov.my网站在线填写C表格提出申诉，或者前往相关州选举办公室提出申诉。

任何选区登记选民，在查阅选民名册后，如对已迁入该选区的选民姓名被列入名册表示异议，均可通过相同渠道填写 D 表格提出异议。

表格C和D也可从州选举办公室网站http://ppn.spr.gov.my下载，并在DPT BLN8/2026审查期间的办公时间内，连同异议费一起提交给相应的州选举主任。——马新社
