BANGKOK: Public support for Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his Bhumjaithai Party has plunged, according to an opinion poll, as his government confronts rising oil prices and a court ruling that may threaten its hold on power.

Only 13.8 per cent of people polled backed Anutin as prime minister in September, compared with 21.7 per cent in June, according to a Sept. 18-23 nationwide phone survey of 2,500 adults by the National Institute of Development Administration.

根据国家发展管理研究所于 9 月 18 日至 23 日对全国 2500 名成年人进行的电话调查，9 月份只有 13.8% 的受访者支持阿努廷担任总理，而 6 月份这一比例为 21.7%。
