MANILA: The internet expression “67” was the most searched slang word in the Philippines from January to September 2026, according to research conducted by Word Unscrambler.
According to the study, “67” (pronounced “six-seven”), a nonsensical internet slang term and meme that generated 166,300 monthly searches, has no literal meaning. But “its absurdity is the point, making it a prime example of ‘brainrot’ internet humour where the randomness itself becomes funny.”
