DENPASAR: A new investigation has raised concerns over the welfare of wildlife used in Bali’s tourist sector, documenting cases in which animals are allegedly exposed to dangerous conditions for commercial gain.

The report, released by the Bali Wildlife Protection Coalition, a network of organisations and individuals working to protect wildlife, is based on field investigations carried out in 2017, 2023 and 2026.
