A 58-year-old male car driver is assisting with police investigations after a two-vehicle accident in Woodlands on Sunday (Oct 4) morning.

The incident happened at about 7.10am at the junction of Woodlands Road and Woodlands Centre Road.

Dashcam footage of the incident shared with SG Road Vigilante and posted on its Facebook page shows a dark-coloured car approaching the said junction.

It does not appear to slow down even though the lights are in the favour of a turning truck.

Moments later, the car crashes into the side of the truck, with significant damage seen on its front bumper.

In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police said that two car passengers — a 19-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman — were taken conscious to hospital.
