Three persons were injured after a three-vehicle accident in Lim Chu Kang on Monday (Oct 5) morning.

Dashcam footage of the incident shared with Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News shows a 10ft lorry driving against the flow of traffic along Neo Tiew Road at about 8.25am, as it attempts to overtake a lorry crane and a motorcycle.

As the vehicles near a bend, where double-white lines are, a motorcycle appears in sight.

The 10ft lorry ends up crashing head-on into the motorcycle, with the impact sending it into the side of the passing lorry crane before flipping on its side.

Footage of the aftermath taken by Shin Min shows the rear of the motorcycle had broken off from its body.

Debris and broken parts lay strewn across the road, while blood and engine oil stains could also be seen on the road.

Police told AsiaOne that the 38-year-old male motorcyclist, the 55-year-old male lorry driver and his 51-year-old male passenger were taken conscious to the hospital.

AsiaOne understands that the motorcyclist is in a serious condition.

The lorry driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.

He is believed to be a migrant worker at a local firm.
