Zetrix AI Bhd's share price dropped during mid-morning trading due to the Road Transport Department's (JPJ) suspension of services provided by MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd as its collection agents, effective October 5.

At 11 am, the company's share price decreased by four sen to 7.5 sen, with a high trading volume of 686.57 million shares.

The suspension followed JPJ's assessment of unfulfilled terms and conditions in the companies' agreements.

Despite the suspension, JPJ assured that services would continue through official and alternative channels, and previously made theory test bookings remain valid.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 — Zetrix AI Bhd’s share price fell during mid-morning trading following the Road Transport Department’s (JPJ) suspension of MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd’s services as its collection agents, effective 12.01 am on Oct 5.

At 11 am, Zetrix AI’s share price slid by four sen to 7.5 sen, with 686.57 million shares traded.

Last Friday, JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the decision was made after considering compliance with the terms and conditions of their agreements and obligations that remained unfulfilled or unresolved.

“Accordingly, all JPJ services previously offered through MYEG Group channels will be suspended from that date.

“JPJ assures the public that its services will continue as usual through official and alternative channels,” he said in a statement last Friday.

Aedy Fadly said computerised driving theory test (KPP01) bookings made through MYEG before Oct 5 remain valid and may proceed as scheduled. — Bernama
