ROME, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Italy's soccer federation president Giovanni Malago is set to lose his job and return as a special administrator under a compromise crafted by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) on Tuesday which ends weeks of governance upheaval.

ROME, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Italy's soccer federation president Giovanni Malago is set to lose his job and return as a special administrator under a compromise crafted by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) on Tuesday which ends weeks of governance upheaval.
The Olympic body's executive board voted unanimously to place the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) under extraordinary administration and propose Malago to oversee daily operations, subject to final ratification by its National Council.
