Apple's smart home push set for major Oct 13 reveal

US technology company Apple is expanding its smart home lineup with a range of devices being developed in partnership with South Korean electronics maker LG Electronics, Bloomberg, a financial news agency, reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

SAN JOSE : US technology company Apple is expanding its smart home lineup with a range of devices being developed in partnership with South Korean electronics maker LG Electronics, Bloomberg, a financial news agency, reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The products being developed with LG Electronics include a video doorbell, smart thermostat, smart deadbolt lock, indoor and outdoor security cameras, a floodlight camera and other accessories, Bloomberg reported.
