PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has announced the temporary closure of the road shoulder after the exit lane of the Bangi Toll Plaza towards Bandar Baru Bangi from October 9 until June 28, 2024, to facilitate road widening works.

The closure will occur during off-peak hours, from 10 pm to 5.30 am, to reduce traffic disruption.

Motorists are advised to adhere to safety protocols, plan their journeys, and stay updated via the PLUS app and official social media channels.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will temporarily close the road shoulder after the exit lane of the Bangi Toll Plaza towards Bandar Baru Bangi from today until June 28 next year to facilitate road widening works.

In a statement today, PLUS said the works were scheduled to take approximately eight months as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to improve highway facilities and enhance users’ comfort.

The closure will only be implemented during off-peak hours, from 10 pm to 5.30 am, to minimise disruption to traffic flow in the area.

Motorists passing through the area are advised to slow down, comply with safety signs and the stipulated speed limits, and follow instructions from personnel at the site.

Users are also advised to plan their journeys and obtain the latest traffic updates through the PLUS app, the company’s official social media platforms, including its X account @plustrafik, and electronic message signs (VMS) at selected locations.
