BEIJING: A mudslide killed two people and left 10 missing in eastern China, damaging a dozen houses following days of torrential rain brought by Typhoon Saudel, state media said Sunday (Sept 6).
The mudslide hit part of a village in Suichuan County in Jiangxi province early Saturday, prompting rescuers to rush to the scene and relocate residents to safer ground to prevent further danger, authorities said in a statement. One person pulled out was found dead, while two others were rescued alive and in good condition, it said.

北京：据官方媒体周日（9月6日）报道，台风“沙德尔”带来的连日暴雨导致中国东部发生泥石流，造成两人死亡，10人失踪，十几栋房屋受损。
江西省绥川县一村庄周六清晨发生泥石流，救援人员迅速赶赴现场，将村民转移到安全地带，以防止进一步的危险。当局在一份声明中表示，一人被救出后不幸身亡，另有两人获救，目前情况良好。
