KUALA LUMPUR, Oct19 — Rapid KL will deploy 85 buses for a special shuttle service to the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) in conjunction with the 2026 Petronas Grand Prix (GP) of Malaysia from October 30 to November 1.

Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Syahrul Azmir Ahmad Zaki said the service was aimed at meeting the transport needs of motorsports fans and facilitating their journeys to the circuit.

He said tickets would go on sale from October 22 at selected customer service counters and the Pasar Seni Bus Hub.

“Every year, motorsports fans from various locations gather in Sepang to experience the excitement of this world-class race firsthand. Rapid KL hopes this service will make their journeys to the circuit easier and more comfortable,” he said in a statement today.

Syahrul Azmir said the shuttle service would operate from three main locations, namely the Pasar Seni Bus Hub, the KLCC bus stop and the KLIA Terminal 2 Bus Hub.

A one-way ticket from Pasar Seni or the KLCC bus stop will cost RM20, while a return ticket will be priced at RM35. The one-way fare from KLIA Terminal 2 is RM12.

Buses travelling to SIC from all three locations will operate from 7 am to 1 pm at 30-minute intervals, while return services from the circuit will run from 4 pm to 7 pm.

In collaboration with SIC, Rapid KL will also provide a free shuttle service around the circuit throughout the event to facilitate visitors’ movement.

The public is advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long queues and waiting times. Further information is available on the official MyRapid website and through the MyRapid PULSE app. — Bernama
