Tuas Port's land connectivity to be enhanced with SMRT's 248M bus route extension

Workers at PSA Tuas Port and its vicinity will soon get better land connectivity with the upcoming route extension of bus service 248M.

In separate announcements on Monday (Oct 26), the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and public transport operator SMRT said the bus service will be extended to operate between Tuas Bus Terminal and Tuas Port Transport Hub from Nov 22.

Service 248M currently plies up to Tuas South Way, which is in the vicinity of the PSA Supply Chain Hub at Tuas .

"This (extension) will enhance connectivity to Tuas Port," LTA added.

Following the extension, service 248M will operate daily from Tuas Bus Terminal between 6.10am and 11.15pm, and from Tuas Port Transport Hub between 6.50am and 11.50pm.

There is no change to the bus route for service 248.

周一（10 月 26 日），陆路交通管理局 (LTA) 和公共交通运营商 SMRT 分别发布公告称，巴士服务将从 11 月 22 日起延长至大士巴士总站和大士港口交通枢纽之间运营。

248M 路公交车目前行驶至大士南路，该路段靠近大士的 PSA 供应链中心。

“这项（扩建工程）将增强与大士港的连接性，”陆路交通管理局补充道。

延长运营后，248M 路公交车每天早上 6 点 10 分至晚上 11 点 15 分从大士巴士总站发车，早上 6 点 50 分至晚上 11 点 50 分从大士港口交通枢纽发车。

248路公交车的路线没有变化。
