Three people were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle accident involving seven vehicles along Boon Lay Way on Monday (Oct 26).
Video footage of the accident's aftermath shared on social media shows an SBS Transit bus and four cars stationary at a traffic junction.
A black car is seen with extensive front-end damage and its bonnet open, while a white car has damage to its front, right side and rear.
Debris was also scattered across the road, with the accident appearing to affect at least three lanes.
At least one ambulance and three police vehicles were also seen at the scene.
Responding to queries from AsiaOne, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to an accident involving five cars, a bus and a tipper truck, along Boon Lay Way towards Commonwealth Avenue West at 10.25am.
A 78-year-old male car driver, a 36-year-old female car driver and a 76-year-old female passenger were taken conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
A 29-year-old male car driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.

星期一（10月26日），文礼路发生一起涉及七辆车的多车相撞事故，造成三人被送往医院。
社交媒体上流传的事故现场视频显示，一辆新捷运巴士和四辆轿车停在交通路口。
一辆黑色汽车车头严重受损，引擎盖敞开；一辆白色汽车车头、右侧和车尾均有损坏。
路面上也散落着碎片，事故似乎至少影响了三条车道。
现场至少还有一辆救护车和三辆警车。
针对 AsiaOne 的询问，警方和新加坡民防部队表示，他们于上午 10 点 25 分接到报警，称在文礼路往联邦大道西方向发生了一起涉及五辆轿车、一辆巴士和一辆自卸卡车的交通事故。
一名 78 岁的男性汽车司机、一名 36 岁的女性汽车司机和一名 76 岁的女性乘客被送往黄廷方综合医院，当时他们意识清醒。
一名29岁的男性汽车司机正在协助警方进行调查。
