KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 — Heading to The Weeknd’s concert next week at TM Stadium Nasional? Live Nation Malaysia has released a comprehensive fan journey guide to ensure you get to the venue smoothly and get home safely. Whether you are taking public transport, hailing a ride, or driving yourself, here is everything you need to know to navigate the crowds and enjoy the event stress-free.

Getting to the stadium

1. Public transport (highly recommended)

The easiest way to beat the traffic is by utilizing the LRT. The closest station is LRT Bukit Jalil on the Sri Petaling Line.

* Pro-tip: Ensure you bring a Touch 'n Go card with sufficient balance for a smoother journey. Standard LRT operating hours apply.

* Stay updated: Scan the official QR codes in the guide to download the PULSE App, check the Integrated Transit Map, or use the MyRapid KL Park n' Ride service for live transit updates.

If you prefer to book a ride, the designated drop-off and pick-up point is at Endah Parade. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the stadium. Skip the hassle of driving and public transport by booking your e-hailing ride directly to this hub.

3. Driving and parking

If you must drive, be prepared for heavy traffic. Avoid Jalan Merah Caga at all costs due to expected congestion.

* On-site parking: Parking bays at KL Sports City (Parking B, D, E, & F) are limited.

* Recommended alternative parking:

* MRANTI Park: Approx. 15-minute walk.

* Calvary Convention Centre: Approx. 30-minute walk.

* Pro-tip: Scan the QR codes provided in the guide to launch Waze directly to your chosen parking area.

After the show: exiting safely

The show might be over, but the journey home requires just as much planning. To prevent overcrowding and ensure smooth crowd flow, the stadium enforces a staggered exit system. Fans will be released in phases.

* One-way exit route: Follow the designated purple arrows on the map. Do not move against the crowd flow, and always follow the instructions of on-ground staff.

* Gate C notice: If you hold a Gate C ticket, you must use the storage facility located near Gate C. This prevents counterflow during the exit rush.

Safety reminders for the journey home

The guide emphasises four key rules for your return trip:

1. Stay alert and informed: Follow official Live Nation channels (@livenation.my) for the latest updates.

2. Stay calm and keep moving safely: Do not stop or panic in the crowds.

3. Expect long queues: Be patient, as there will be heavy vehicle congestion and lines for public transport and e-hailing.

4. Keep exits clear: Do not block doorways or pathways.

Plan your return journey ahead of time, look out for one another, and have a fantastic time at the show!
