He told the Kelantan State Assembly today that the figure involved 816,020 land titles.

Mohd Nassuruddin said the state government had always given attention to efforts to maintain the area and status of Malay Reserve Land to ensure that the interests of land ownership among the Malays continued to be protected.

He said all development matters involving Malay Reserve Land must comply with relevant legal provisions, including the Kelantan Malay Reservation Enactment 1930.

“Any development matters involving Malay Reserve Land must comply with the relevant laws to ensure that the development carried out does not result in the erosion of Malay land ownership,” he said. — Bernama
