KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police have arrested a 54-year-old contract worker on suspicion of targeting high school girls near Yokohama Station, spitting saliva onto their legs on repeated occasions, reports Nippon News Network (Oct. 28).
The suspect, Masaki Kikuta, is alleged to have approached girls in uniform at a commercial facility near the station, collecting his own saliva in his hand and flicking it onto the legs of three separate high school students as they passed by, police said.
According to investigators, Kikuta would stop off at Yokohama Station on his way home from work and deliberately single out uniformed schoolgirls as his targets.
Kikuta has admitted to the allegations, telling investigators, “I liked the bare legs of young women. Spitting on their legs excited me,” police said.
Authorities have not disclosed the identities of the three victims. The case is being treated as a matter of serious concern given the prolonged nature of the offending and the deliberate targeting of minors.

神奈川（TR）——据日本新闻网（10月28日）报道，神奈川县警方逮捕了一名54岁的合同工，该男子涉嫌在横滨站附近以高中女生为目标，多次向她们的腿上吐口水。
警方称，嫌疑人菊田正树涉嫌在车站附近的一家商业场所接近身穿制服的女孩，用手收集自己的唾液，并在三名不同的高中女生经过时，将唾液甩到她们的腿上。
据调查人员称，菊田会在下班回家的路上在横滨站停留，并故意挑选身穿制服的女学生作为他的目标。
警方称，菊田承认了这些指控，并告诉调查人员：“我喜欢年轻女性裸露的双腿。往她们腿上吐口水让我感到兴奋。”
当局尚未公布三名受害者的身份。鉴于犯罪行为持续时间长，且蓄意针对未成年人，此案被视为高度关注的案件。
