One of the most highly anticipated auctions of the year will be an offshoot of Christie’s Rare Watches Live Auction, that is the biennial Watches for ELA charity auction.
Happening on Nov 9 in Geneva, proceeds benefitting the European Leukodystrophy Association (ELA) International will go towards funding medical research into leukodystrophies (rare genetic diseases affecting the central nervous system).

今年最受期待的拍卖会之一是佳士得珍稀名表现场拍卖会的衍生活动，即两年一度的ELA慈善名表拍卖会。
活动将于 11 月 9 日在日内瓦举行，所得收益将捐赠给欧洲白质营养不良协会 (ELA) 国际组织，用于资助白质营养不良症（影响中枢神经系统的罕见遗传疾病）的医学研究。
