BANGKOK: The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) forecasts thunderstorms across 70% of Bangkok and surrounding areas, with isolated heavy rain, from 6am on Sept 11 to 6am on Sept 12, 2026, Thai time. Increasing rain is forecast in southern Thailand, including isolated very heavy falls in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Increasing rain is forecast in southern Thailand, including isolated very heavy falls in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
In its forecast issued on Friday (Sept 11), the TMD also predicts isolated heavy rain in central and eastern Thailand. Rainfall is expected to decrease in the North and Northeast.
