Aeroline resumes Kuala Lumpur-Singapore coach service after four months

Passengers will have to transfer via shuttle bus at IOI City Mall to reach TRX shopping centre.

Aeroline has resumed its Kuala Lumpur-Singapore coach service on Sept 1 after stopping services in May.

Passengers must transfer via shuttle bus at IOI City Mall to reach TRX shopping centre due to licensing restrictions on terminals.

Aeroline was previously suspended for using unapproved drop-off locations in Kuala Lumpur.

SINGAPORE – Coach operator Aeroline resumed cross-border services between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur on Sept 1 , after ending the route in May .

However, it is not a direct route, as passengers will have to transfer to a shuttle bus in Malaysia.

According to Aeroline’s website, passengers from Singapore will be picked up at Perennial Business City in Jurong Lake District.

The coach will then stop at IOI City Mall in Selangor , where passengers will have to transfer to a shuttle bus that will take them to TRX shopping centre in KL.

Similarly, those travelling back to Singapore from TRX will have to disembark from the shuttle bus at IOI City Mall before continuing the journey back home on an Aeroline coach.

Aeroline will run three daily trips from Singapore – departing at 8am, 4.30pm and 6.45pm – and three trips a day from TRX – departing at 8am, 10am and 4.30pm.

A one-way ticket is priced at $50 for an adult and $38 per child. Each coach can carry 34 passengers.

Aeroline in May stopped its coach services in Kuala Lumpur after receiving a “strict directive” stating that it could operate only from 1 Utama, LaLaport and IOI City Mall, which are licensed terminals, unlike TRX.

1 Utama and IOI City Mall are at least a 30-minute drive from downtown Kuala Lumpur.

In a Facebook post on Sept 2 , Aeroline said: “We’re delighted to be connecting Kuala Lumpur and Singapore once again.

“From 1 September 2026, Aeroline’s cross-border coach services between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are back – bringing you the familiar comfort, care and hospitality that have always been part of your journey with us.”

Aeroline said in May that moving to LaLaport would compromise the service quality and affordability for passengers due to the combined impact of higher commercial fees, additional manpower requirements and operational expenditure of moving to the terminal. “It is therefore with a heavy heart that we announce a major transition: Aeroline buses will officially make an exit from Kuala Lumpur,” it said then.

Aeroline was also previously instructed to suspend services for a month in November 2025 , after it was found to have continued dropping off passengers at unapproved locations instead of at a centralised bus terminal.

在5月份停运后，Aeroline已于9月1日恢复吉隆坡至新加坡的长途汽车服务。

由于航站楼的许可限制，乘客必须在 IOI City Mall 换乘接驳巴士才能到达 TRX 购物中心。

Aeroline 此前曾因在吉隆坡使用未经批准的下客点而被停业。

新加坡——长途客车运营商 Aeroline 于 9 月 1 日恢复了新加坡和吉隆坡之间的跨境客运服务，此前该航线于 5 月停运。

然而，这不是一条直达路线，乘客需要在马来西亚换乘接驳巴士。

根据 Aeroline 的网站信息，从新加坡出发的乘客将在裕廊湖区的 Perennial Business City 上车。

随后，巴士将在雪兰莪的 IOI City Mall 停靠，乘客将在那里换乘接驳巴士前往吉隆坡的 TRX 购物中心。

同样，从 TRX 返回新加坡的乘客必须在 IOI City Mall 下车，然后乘坐 Aeroline 长途汽车继续回家。

Aeroline 每天将从新加坡开行三班航班——分别于上午 8 点、下午 4 点 30 分和下午 6 点 45 分出发——每天还将从 TRX 开行三班航班——分别于上午 8 点、上午 10 点和下午 4 点 30 分出发。

成人单程票价为50美元，儿童单程票价为38美元。每辆巴士可搭载34名乘客。

5 月，Aeroline 停止了在吉隆坡的长途汽车服务，此前该公司收到“严格指示”，称其只能从 1 Utama、LaLaport 和 IOI City Mall 这三个获得许可的航站楼运营，而 TRX 则没有。

从吉隆坡市中心开车到万达广场和IOI城市购物中心至少需要30分钟。

9 月 2 日，Aeroline 在 Facebook 上发帖称：“我们很高兴再次连接吉隆坡和新加坡。”

“自 2026 年 9 月 1 日起，Aeroline 吉隆坡和新加坡之间的跨境长途汽车服务将恢复运营——为您带来一如既往的舒适、关怀和热情款待，让您在与我们同行的旅途中倍感宾至如归。”

Aeroline公司五月份曾表示，迁至LaLaport将因更高的商业费用、额外的人力需求以及搬迁至新航站楼的运营成本等综合影响，从而影响服务质量和乘客的出行成本。“因此，我们怀着沉重的心情宣布一项重大调整：Aeroline巴士将正式退出吉隆坡市场。”该公司当时表示。

此前，Aeroline 还被责令在 2025 年 11 月暂停服务一个月，原因是该公司被发现继续在未经批准的地点而不是在中央巴士总站让乘客下车。
