RCEP drives 21% surge in Cambodia's regional trade in Jan.-Aug.

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia's trade volume with Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member states saw a year-on-year surge of 21 per cent in the first eight months of 2026, driven by tariff preferences and trade facilitation under the mega-regional pact, official data showed on Saturday (Sept 12).

The South-East Asian country recorded US$31.93 billion in trade with RCEP countries during the January-August period this year, up from US$26.35 billion in the same period last year, according to a report from the Ministry of Commerce.

据商务部发布的一份报告显示，今年1月至8月期间，这个东南亚国家与RCEP国家的贸易额为319.3亿美元，高于去年同期的263.5亿美元。
