Rev. Lee Young-hoon preaches spiritual renewal in London

Rev. Lee Young-hoon, senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church, preached spiritual renewal in London during the 2026 London Missionary Conference. He spoke to 47 missionaries serving across Europe and the former Soviet states at London Full Gospel Church from Sept. 7-10. Lee urged attendees to ground faith in both Bible study and the Holy Spirit, and to show Christ’s love through daily life.

Lee delivered a Tuesday lecture titled Full Gospel Faith and Theology during an academic seminar and workshop.

Dr. Kim Ho-seong presented on The Impact of Yoido Full Gospel Church on World Church Growth, and Dr. Chun Gwi-chun spoke on world mission and the church’s role in mission history.

On Wednesday, Lee led a blessing service titled Faith Approved by God and urged believers to turn faith into action and give thanks in hardship.

Rev. Lee Young-hoon, senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church, gathered nearly 50 Korean missionaries from across Europe and the former Soviet states in London to deliver messages of spiritual renewal and outline a fresh vision for European evangelization.

Lee served as the keynote speaker at the 2026 London Missionary Conference, held from Sept. 7-10 at London Full Gospel Church.

Organized to help missionaries rediscover their spiritual purpose and deepen their theological roots, the four-day gathering brought together 47 missionaries serving across Europe and the former Soviet states.

During an academic seminar and workshop on Tuesday, Lee delivered a lecture titled "Full Gospel Faith and Theology." He shared the core teachings of Full Gospel faith, focusing on faith in God and the power of the Holy Spirit in daily life.

"God is a God of justice and at the same time a God of love," Lee said. "Emphasizing only justice leads to legalism, while emphasizing only love can result in a false sense of grace."

He stressed that learning the Bible and experiencing the Holy Spirit must go together.

"Being filled with the Holy Spirit means being filled with God’s word, which means being filled with Jesus," the senior pastor said. "When that happens, we should naturally live like 'a little Jesus' every day."

He also called missionary work the main goal of the church and the key to its growth.

The academic session also featured research presentations. Dr. Kim Ho-seong spoke on "The Impact of Yoido Full Gospel Church on World Church Growth," while Dr. Chun Gwi-chun presented "World Mission and Yoido Full Gospel Church: A Prophetic Church Leading the Transformation of Mission History."

Yoon Sung-bin, a missionary stationed in Norway, said the sessions inspired him to "serve the souls in the mission field with deeper love and faithfulness, gaining new strength for European evangelization."

On Wednesday, Lee led a blessing service titled "Faith Approved by God." Pointing to the early Thessalonian church, which united in Christ's love to spread the Gospel despite severe hardships, Lee urged believers to translate their faith into action.

"Those who love God must demonstrate beautiful lives to the world," Lee preached. "We must go beyond confessing our faith in words alone and practice Christ's love in our daily lives."

He encouraged attendees to face hardships with thanks instead of complaints.

"Looking to Jesus during tough times and giving thanks instead of complaining shows true faith and hope," he said. He urged attendees to become "believers who change the world by sharing the Gospel through Spirit-filled prayer and the Word."

Rev. Kim Yong-bok, senior pastor of London Full Gospel Church, expressed gratitude following the conference.

"This fourth missionary conference offered a valuable opportunity to confirm the roots and identity of Full Gospel faith, share field experiences, and seek new mission strategies," Kim said. "Thanks to Pastor Lee’s encouragement, our missionaries can now return to their mission fields with renewed dedication."

“被圣灵充满意味着被神的话语充满，也就是被耶稣充满，”主任牧师说。“当这种情况发生时，我们自然而然地就会每天活得像‘小耶稣’一样。”

他还称传教工作是教会的主要目标和发展的关键。

本次学术会议还包括研究报告环节。金浩成博士作了题为“汝矣岛纯福音教会对世界教会增长的影响”的报告，而全贵春博士则作了题为“世界宣教与汝矣岛纯福音教会：引领宣教历史变革的先知教会”的报告。

驻挪威的传教士尹成彬表示，这些课程激励他“以更深沉的爱和忠诚去服务传教区的灵魂，为欧洲的福音传播获得新的力量”。

周三，李牧师主持了一场题为“蒙神认可的信仰”的祝福聚会。他以早期帖撒罗尼迦教会为例，指出该教会在基督的爱中团结一致，尽管面临严峻的困难，仍然努力传播福音。李牧师敦促信徒们将信仰付诸行动。

李牧师讲道说：“爱神的人必须向世人展现美好的生活。我们不能仅仅停留在口头上宣扬信仰，更要在日常生活中实践基督的爱。”

他鼓励与会者用感恩之心面对困难，而不是抱怨。

他说：“在艰难时刻仰望耶稣，心存感恩而不是抱怨，这才是真正的信仰和盼望。” 他敦促与会者成为“通过充满圣灵的祷告和神的话语来分享福音，从而改变世界的信徒”。

伦敦纯福音教会主任牧师金永福牧师在会议结束后表达了感谢之情。

金牧师说：“第四届宣教士大会提供了一个宝贵的机会，让我们能够巩固全备福音信仰的根基和身份，分享宣教经验，并寻求新的宣教策略。感谢李牧师的鼓励，我们的宣教士现在可以带着新的奉献精神回到他们的宣教工场。”
