DBKL to issue on-the-spot permits for tables, chairs on five-foot ways

RESTAURANT operators placing tables and chairs on five-foot ways in Kuala Lumpur must allocate between 2.5ft and 3ft for pedestrians and wheelchair users.

Mayor Datuk Seri Fadlun Mak Ujud said Kuala Lumpur City Hall's (DBKL) branch offices would check on this before issuing permits for the placement of furniture in these public spaces.
