Melaka Pakatan finalising talks with Bersatu, others to form PH Plus for state polls

Pakatan Harapan (PH) Melaka is finalizing talks with like-minded parties, including Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), to form a PH Plus alliance for the upcoming Melaka State Election.

PH Melaka chairman Adly Zahari stated that any cooperation with Bersatu will be announced upon the completion of negotiations.

Seat allocations within PH have been confirmed, with Amanah set to contest in eight seats, including Bukit Katil and Durian Tunggal.

No discussions have occurred with Barisan Nasional (BN) regarding collaboration.

MELAKA, Sept 19 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) Melaka is finalising negotiations with parties that have similar aspirations, including Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), to form a PH Plus collaboration to contest the Melaka State Election.

Melaka PH chairman Adly Zahari said the negotiations were being conducted based on decisions made at a meeting of the PH Presidential Council

“The negotiations also include Bersatu, but any form of cooperation will only be announced after the negotiation process has been completed,” he told a press conference after attending the launch of Amanah’s election machinery in Duyong here today.

Also present were Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, who is also Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, and Amanah deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa.

Meanwhile, Adly, who is also Deputy Defence Minister, said the distribution of seats within PH among PKR, Amanah and DAP had been finalised, including the allocation of eight seats to Amanah.

Among the state seats that Amanah are set to contest are Bukit Katil, Durian Tunggal, Telok Mas and Merlimau.

Asked about the possibility of collaborating with Barisan Nasional (BN), Adly said that, so far, no negotiations had been held with the party. — Bernama

希望联盟马六甲主席阿德利·扎哈里表示，与土著团结党的任何合作都将在谈判完成后宣布。

希望联盟内部的席位分配已经确定，诚信党将竞选八个席位，包括武吉卡迪尔和榴莲东加。

目前尚未与国民阵线（BN）就合作事宜进行任何讨论。
