A tragic fire at a two-storey terrace house in Taman Desa Tambun, Ipoh, resulted in the deaths of three family members: Raja Ahmad Raja Ali, Zaitun Mohamed, and their grandson, Nik Abdurrahman Azimin Harith Helal.
Post-mortems revealed that two victims died from fire-related injuries, while the third succumbed to smoke inhalation.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning, and the cause remains under investigation.
Authorities have urged the public to refrain from speculation and respect the sensitivity of the victims' families.

Ipoh district police chief ACP Muhammad Najib Hamzah said another victim died from smoke inhalation.
“The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The public is advised not to make any speculation or disseminate unverified information and to respect the sensitivity of the victims’ families,” he said in a statement.
He said the fire involved a two-storey terrace house and was believed to have occurred at about 3.53am Sunday.
The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) rushed to the scene to secure the area and carry out firefighting operations after receiving a report about the incident.
Three family members, comprising an elderly couple and their grandson, died in the incident.
They were Raja Ahmad Raja Ali, 70, Zaitun Mohamed, 64, and their 18-year-old grandson, Nik Abdurrahman Azimin Harith Helal.
Their remains were laid to rest in the same grave at the Tambun Islamic Cemetery here at about 8.25pm yesterday after the post-mortems were completed. — Bernama
