Moderate to heavy thundery showers expected over northern, western Singapore on Sept 21 afternoon

Moderate to heavy thundery showers with gusty winds are expected over the northern and western areas of Singapore on Monday (Sept 21) afternoon.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) said in an update that the weather condition is expected between 2.15pm and 3pm.

Checks on the Meteorological Service Singapore's weather radar show patches of rainclouds over northern Singapore, to its south, near Batam.

As at 2.25pm, no flood risk advisory has been issued by PUB.

In its fortnightly weather forecast issued on Sept 16 , NEA had said localised short-duration thundery showers are expected between the late morning and afternoon over most parts of the island on most days.

Meanwhile, Singapore's 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) at 2pm ranged from 68 to 86, in the moderate range, with the highest reading of 86 recorded in the central region.

One-hour PM2.5 is in the normal band for all regions.

截至下午2点25分，公用事业局尚未发布任何洪水风险预警。

新加坡国家环境局 (NEA) 在 9 月 16 日发布的两周一次的天气预报中表示，预计大多数日子里，岛上大部分地区在上午晚些时候到下午之间会出现局部短时雷阵雨。

与此同时，新加坡下午 2 点的 24 小时污染物标准指数 (PSI) 介于 68 至 86 之间，处于中等水平，其中中部地区记录到的最高读数为 86。

所有地区的PM2.5一小时浓度均处于正常范围内。
